Tarry Lapsang Souchong
The tart smoke of the Chinese pine tree root gives this traditional variety its delicate smoky taste. The smoky taste of this Chinese tea is achieved by steaming the leaves in the smoke of these special woods.
Those who enjoy the great outdoors, sip a cup and imagine you're perched by a smokey campfire at the side of a deep dark woods.

I have recently rediscovered this tea. Drinking it is one thing, but I think it's put to better use as a base for rubs, or for marinating fish, meat, tofu. Highly recommended for a great culinary experience.
This tea is different not for my liking but my girls love it,everyone has a taste of their own.But not bad at all.
I used it to make cheese scones and it was a success! Love it
