Marigolds of the Calendula genus are utilised for their many anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and anti fungal compounds. Tea with marigold flowers may ease symptoms caused by inflammatory bowel diseases/colitis. It may also be beneficial for treating gastritis, acid reflux and ulcers, as well as reducing stomach or menstrual cramps.
This is my new favorite herbal tea. It’s pleasantly citrusy without being acidic, and it’s truly a delight to drink. Delightfully refreshing and comforting at the same time.
